Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Hey y'all!  So last week, my momma wuz so sick dat she forgot to help me publish my poem on Thursday!  I mean, I wrote it, but she totally messed up.  So I'm doublin up dis week.  By da way, momma is still kinda sick (it's one of those lingering cold/flu things), but she's a lil better.  At least she wuzn't too sick to feed me.  Anyways, so now wif da poems . . .

Meowser by Travis Ford

Oh how I luv to go meow
I am sayin "I want it now!"
I've got volume, yeah I'm real loud
Of my meows, I'm very proud
I've got a lot of variety
The siren meow, yeah that's me
I can baa like a sheep as well
How I manage it, I won't tell
Angie's girly, Crockett's quiet
My mews can sound like a riot
It sounds like cats havin a fight
I meow a lot, but I don't bite!

Dis next poem wuz inspired by a certain girlcat who has not been on her bestest behavior dis week . . .

Naughty by Travis Ford

Angelique, you are a bad girl
Clawin my momma in a whirl
Fangs were out, ya chomped her too!
And what exactly did she do?
She only tried to pick you up
To save you from that barkin pup
Now she looks like she's a cutter
I'll be nice and go head-butt her
Ang, you're naughty, who knew ya could
Make me and Crockett look so good!

Hope ya liked dis weeks dubble poems!

    1. I'm by far the loudest here. Angelique has a girly lil meow and Crockett rarely meows.

  11. Excellent poems. I'd like to hear your loud voice. Ouch for the momma getting the sharp end of Angelique.

  12. I'm glad you doubled up today, Travis, because both those poems were awesome!

P.S. It sounds like your human had the same thing mine had - it lingered on a lot longer than usual. Most of the time she is up and about in a day or two - this time she wasn't fully functional for a week, and she kept coughing for long after that!

  14. Oh my! A dubble bubble of poetic delights and they are both fabulous. I'm a major meower too Travis. Mom says Sammy was QUIET compared to me and he was a talker! Anyway, I think it's alright to "tell it like it is" - who else will keep the humans in line right? Happy St. Pat's Day to all of you......

  15. Double the poems means double the fun! Well, except for the whole chomping part (ouch!), but they're fantastic nonetheless. Oh, and happy St. Patrick's Day!

  21. Your poetry is purrfection, Travis. Our angel brofur, ginger tabby MacKenzie, only had one meow, and he sounded just like a sheep saying, "baa." We never heard of another cat doing that until now. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, and Cooper Murphy
