Thoroughly Poetical Thursday

Happy Purrsday! We hope all our fellow Americats had a good Fourth and dat da fireworks didn't bother ya - dey don't seem to bother us at all. But we is used to loud noises - wif three westies and our mommas (espeshully mine and Crockett's), ya get used to LOUD. Oh, and not to menshun a certain handsome peach tabby cat who luvs to yowl just to hear his beeyootifull voice.

Ignore dat razz, I fink it are beeyootifull. What would Silent Sam know bout it anyways?? Ok, it are Thursday (well, it still TECKNICALLY are) so I is gettin in my poetical rhymes . . . for dis weeks inspuurayshun . . .

Dis are a drive-in movie, according to momma
I don't know if it are a comedy or drama
My momma has never seen a movie from her car
If she wanted to, she would have to drive pretty far
I can only think of one way it would be worth that
And that would be if she remembered to take the cat!

And if she did take me, she better stop at the consesshuns stand and buy me somefin good!  Ok, it are probably not gonna happen - guess I'll hafta settle for movies at home - how bout Black Panther???

  3. We have never been to a drive =-in movie either.
Guess not liking to be in a car adds to that.We are not sure if there are still drive-in movie places here anymore.

  4. Mom did that once, on a vacation. It was neat but she prefers indoor movies.

  5. I don't like the car, so I've never wanted to see a movie at the drive-in. Momma has always talked about going with the dogs, though. I prefer to wait until she brings the movies home and I can watch the Black Panther from my favorite perch.

  6. Mom has never been to a drive in either, but really wants to go to one. You and I could stow away in the automobiles to make sure we didn't get left behind. Oh yes you should see the Black Panther, fur sure! It was EPICALLY furr-tastic! Winks.

  11. Mom wonders if anyone ever took a cat to a drive-in movie. Watching at home or in a theater with A/C is better than any drive-in ever was, according to our mom. Happy you had a good fourth. Hope you got some good noms. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  12. Oh those old drive-in movie theaters were hot and steamy (especially inside the cars....haha). The concession stand was full of delightful and bad for you snackables too. Mom and her boyfriend rarely saw a movie though. HAHAHA Your poetry was PERFECT! As always.

    Hugs, Teddy

  14. There used to be a drive in theater about 2 miles from here...but its been torn down and now there are houses there...sheesh!

    That poem made us giggle!

Speaking of movies...petcretary says she cannot remember when she last saw one...prolly when the unfurs were younger:)
She doesn't care for most of them these days...
