Sunday Selfies

It's Sunday, so it's selfie time. At least we don't have masks on like so many of da humans out and about. 😷

Out and about ya say? Yeah, da humans aren't supposed to be out and about. But in dis town, da hoarding has been out of control and da mommas went to 8 different stores on the hunt. Nuffin. Dey already had a pretty low opinion of people, this is just making it even lower. And hey hoarders, you hoarding everything makes social distancing really hard when you have to go to multiple stores. And this wuz not their furst attempt to find it.

We hope all our pals are doing ok. We're pretty stocked up on cat food and it duzn't seem like cat food are being hoarded locally - maybe in this town they only care about stuffing their own faces (and apparently wiping their butts). I'm shure some of our pals have humans who are now outta work too. My momma really has no clue what she is gonna do. Luckily, I know how to remind her to do what is important - feed da cats!!

  1. Sweet selfies you Texan kitties!!

Sorry your Momma's aren't finding the things they are shopping for.

Maybe they need to get up really really early and 'hit' a big store as soon as it opens. Give each one a shopping list and do the team footwork. (Sort of like black Friday, but keep your distance!) Around here we have a lot of stores with senior hours and or essential worker hours too, in the hour before they officially open.
Petcretary scores on both premises...yup, she is officially ancient!

  2. Nice selfies! My human is annoyed about the hoarders too. She has a friend who lives a few blocks away and if she really needs flour or eggs, she can get them from her. They are sure hard to find at the stores.

  3. Seems like the selfish hoarders are the same in every country!
People like me with health issues, and over 70s have been told to self isolate for 12 weeks. I can do that but how are we supposed to get our provisions when the stores have no home delivery slots before the end of April! Luckily one of the girls who keeps a horse with us is getting the essentials.

    1. It's good you've got somebody to help you get them. It seems to be bad everywhere.

  4. We hope your Mammas managed to get some of this bacon you all love so much!
Our Mummy has tried ordering stuff online from one of the big supermarket chains - not with noticeable success! And the websites keep crashing because of the overload.
Still, We have enough to eat for the next few weeks.
Look after yourselves, dear furriends - and the Mammas too.

  5. I'm so sorry your family is having such a tough time with supplies. People can be awful... But I've also heard good stories too. If you have nextdoor.com, maybe post the need there. Someone may be able to share.

  6. Yep, the hoarders are horrible. We've had better luck finding human food and not so much luck finding our cat food.

    1. Here, no one is hoarding cat food. Guess the hoarders are selfish and don't care about their pets. Just their own butts, MOL.

  10. Crazy hoarders! It's the same here in the UK. Idiots everywhere who won't stay in for their own safety and everyone else's!

Mum doesn't want to wear a mask. If she has to she will cover her mouth with a scarf.

    Great selfies!

  17. Howdy guys......Mom feels rather victorious this morning because finally after searching every day for almost two weeks she got the LAST package of TP at the store!! She's not a hoarder - she's a senior citizen who simply wanted A PACKAGE OF TP FOR HER AND MY DAD!!! It was a 4-pack but she feels pretty darn proud to have "scored" !!! Hang in there gang....our humans are doing the best they can under the circumstances (unless of course they are part of the "HOARD"!)

    Hugs, Teddy

  19. You make a very good point. If the hoarders stop stuffin their faces, they won't need so much toilet paper. I mean, that's common sense right? Sadly, common sense seems to be scarce too.
