Sunday Selfies

Well pals, what can we say . . . 

It really are pals. What happened to George Floyd is terrible. Black lives matter. 

Humans should be a lot more like us cats - we don't care if you're orange, white, gray, black, striped, bicolored, mixed - cats don't judge each other on the color of our furs. If only da humans could be more like us.

But they aren't. They are nowhere near as good as us. 

Don't worry, we aren't turning our blog into nonstop politics and current events, becuz OMC, that would be depressing. And really, us cats (and yes even the DOGS) have been one of the things this year that da mommas actually enjoy. 

But we gotta say this. It's just too important to ignore.

And we have another thing we want to menshun. We saw this rioting and looting on TV - and no one looted a butcher shop for us! I mean really, if da mommas is gonna get all upset, the least they could do is bring home some MEATZ for da cats.  

Happy Anny-fur-sary!

Today it my grandma and grandpa's (Bowie's momma and daddy's) anny-fur-sary. They's been married FOREVER. 

Ok, 38 years seems like forever to me. I mean, going 3 hours between meals seems like forever to me.

We made shure to give em extra headbonks and rubs. Happy anniversary y'all!

Now make with the bacon tomorrow morning. Ya know, the couple that makes bacon for the cats together . . . has happy cats.

Better Than Blue

As ya probably know, da three of us are strictly inside-only cats. Yeah, sometimes we have dreams about going out - killing burds, bringing down a mouse, smelling da great outdoors. I mean, we're stuck hinting the stray lizard or bug that gets in the house.

But today momma came home from walking the dogs and reminded us we actually has it pretty good. This lil black and white kitty wuz outside a street over. He had blue paint/dye on him, so grandma rang the doorbell to find out if it wuz that houses's kitty. It wuzn't, but it wuz the next door neighbor's cat - they let it out all the time and apparently their children decided it needed a dye job. Ugh. There's lots of coyotes and bobcats in our neighborhood, not to menshun bad drivers and bored teenagers. This kitty wuz super friendly too - da mommas felt bad for it.

So maybe it's not too bad being inside. Even if we're stuck hunting lizards and mayflies. At least we're not blue.

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day! We had a quiet Memorial Day here - it's been storming all day, so da mommas just stayed in and watched The Pacific on HBO. Well, and the dogs got groomed - heh heh, that wuz fun to watch!

Momma wuz really happy wif this picture of Bowie - a lot of times, he looks surprised or startled when she points the camera at him. This is what he looks like most of the time - chubby cheeks and all!  

We're very thankful for everyone who has served in our military today - espeshully those who made the ultimate sacrifice. I tried to convince da mommas we needed to honor them wif bacon, but no such luck. Le sigh.

Sunday Selfies

So, today our hungry eyes we're showing off in our selfies worked and we got some bacon!! Or maybe it wuz just cuz Grandma decided she wanted bacon (da humans didn't get any on Friday, just us animals). Well, it duzn't matter, cuz there wuz bacon!  

Yeah, Bowie couldn't take his eyes off the stove long enough to look at da camera for a selfie. 

Angelique practically knocked my momma out last nite wif revenge farts when she wuz getting combed. And yeah, my momma ain't making this up, her momma confirmed that she will let out the most toxic gas when she's annoyed. Anger farts??? I guess ya gotta use what weapons ya got.

Happy Caturday!

Well, we TRIED to convince da mommas we needed Caturday morning bacon, but dey said we got birthday bacon yesterday and that wuz enuf. ENUF bacon??? There's no such thing. So instead, we just had to try to steal their food, MOL.

Happy 14th Birthday Finley!

Today it are our woofie sister Finley's 14th birthday!

Finley is a super sweet pup and she luvs us kitties. We luv her right back.

We also luv that bacon we got since it wuz her birthday.

She had a good day - filled wif tasty food, some fun new toys, and lotsa snuggles. Kinley wrote more about it if ya wanna see some more pics.

Not a whole lot new here. We is just tryin to keep da humans somewhat sane. Oh yeah, and trying to steal their food too. Of course.

Bowie got a lil knick on his nose. I'm saying a certain GIRL cat did it, since she has a history of going for da face (me, Kinley, etc).  

She says he had it comin.
