No, it are not my birthday. Or lil Crockett dude's. Yesterday it wuz Crockett's momma's birthday, I guess she are also my grandma since my momma is her daughter. Or somefin like dat. But dat don't make da lil Crockett my uncle, dat are just too confuseratin. He are just my brother. If any of dat makes any sense.
Anyways, dis birthday thing started out pretty good. My momma got to work makin crabcakes for my grandma's birthday breakfast Wednesday night. She made some speshul crabcakes eggs benedict for brunch. Anyways, dat are not da interesting part. Da interestin part wuz da crab. Me and Crockett got to work beggin for dat crab and we each got some. Delishus.
We tried to beg some breakfast off em, but dey wuzn't sharin. I tried to steal a bit of my momma's mimosa too, but I got chased off. Dem peeps don't like to share.
Den my grandma opened da presents.
She got some purses and jewelry and stuff like dat. No pounds of bacon, which are what I woulda asked for. She did get some chocolates, I wonder if she'll share. Probably not.
Den da peeps abandoned us and went off to eat. And dey came home smellin like crawfish, shrimp, fishies, and bacon! OMC!!! Da even said dey got to eat some fried gator - I'd eat a gator, but dey didn't bring me none.
Den it wuz time for da birthday dessert, which wuz a key lime pie.
Once again, I didn't get offered a piece.
Mmm, crabcakes! Sounds pawsome but seriously, you need some of that pie! Purrs...
