Grandpa's Birthday!

Today it wuz my grandpa's birfday - he turned 61!

Me and Crockett rocked da birfday bandanas to celebrates. 

But Angelique are really da one of us who went above and beyond to make shure he had da purrfect birthday - when he wuz watchin one of his birfday movies, she got up in his lap and sat wif him for a long time! Kinda unusual for her - she's usually not a lap cat and she usually prefurs one of da mommas. Guess she wanted to make his day speshul.

He got lotsa presents - movies, sunglasses, a fancy suitcase, and an Ancestry DNA test.

And he had a German Sweet Chocolate Cake. Which by da way, ain't German at all, it are ackshually from Dallas and my momma are gonna put da recipe up on her recipe blog soon. He also had some shrimpies (and yes, I got some!)

He didn't get any nip though. Luckily I got dat one all taken care of.

I bet ya thought I forgot all bout my poem today. NOPE! Here's da pic and here's da poem. It are birfday inspired!

Life can be a crazy ride

Kinda like this big tall slide

Some days can be real bad

Some things can make ya real mad

But try your best to have fun

Even if you're sixty one!
