Happy Purrsday pals! Well, it are back in da furozen temps outside and da winds are howling - makes me glad I am inside where it are warm and I has my choice of comfy beds to choose from.
It also makes us laff at da dogs who hafta go outside to do their "business." Sometimes it are definitely good to be a cat (even if two outta three of da dogs seem to ackshually like dis cold stuff).
Anyways, it are purrsday, so I has anudder poem for y'all - inspired by a photo provided by Angel Sammy and Teddy.
Dis guy are takin a flying leap
Way down into da great blue and deep
I like to fly through da air too
It are exhilaratin to do
But one jump I won't make, you can bet
Are da kind where ya end up all wet!

ReplyDeleteMom and dad love the wet stuff, and dad just got the pool here opened and had to get a little wet to get things ready. Thankfully it was a nice warm day. It's going to be in the 70's again today, but it's supposed to drop about 20 degrees for the weekend. Nice poem, y'all!
ReplyDeleteYep I'm with you on that wet stuff - no way baby - I like DRY LAND (or muddy land). I do love your poem though - it "says it all"! That guy must like to hurt all over to drive from up so high and hit what water so hard. Not me. Gimme my water in a bowl - PERIOD!

ReplyDeleteThat is a nice poem. You are lucky to be a cat and not have to go outside in the cold. Chancy puts it in high gear when he has to go outside in the cold. He is a dog so he has to go out in the cold. lol Hugs and nose kisses
