Sunday Selfies

This week, our pals at The Cat On My Head are dedicating the Sunday Selfie blog hop to Crockett.

His razzberry selfies were always popular and we know there are CCLs all over the world who are gonna miss his bleps. We know we are missing him so much. I are still not eating wif a full appetite like I should. And da mommas are still not really sleeping enuf. Angelique is still playing family therapy cat - she has really been so sweet trying to make shure everyone are ok. I know sometimes I can give her a hard time on here (what are big brofurs for if not a lil bit of teasin?), but she really has been a sweetheart.

The two of us has been hanging out some too. I guess it isn't too bad to hang out wif a girl, and for now, it are just me and Crockett's daddy as da men of da house - we's outnumbered 2-7. Yikes! So I guess it are good I luv da ladies.

  1. When the chips are down and the family is in need then it is great that the family rallies to help. Angelique is a real wonderful lady, and I am sure life will help heal your wounds. Hmm, being outnumbered is not good, Travis, so to help outI will nominate myself to be a honorary male cat when I visit. Maybe share a few nip beers and pizza, too, and watch this Game of Mice series - or chase them dogs MOL
    Gentle purrs to you all

  4. Angie, you're doing such a great job of taking care of everyone. The sad reality is that grief and mourning is a long process. It's painful and takes the time it takes. More hugs to you all.

  13. We're certainly going to miss Crockett's raspberries but we look forward to seeing you and Angelique. Take time to grieve and heal. It took my kitty Felix 2 weeks before he stopped looking for his kitty-sister after she died. Everyone needs time to adjust to Crockett not being around. But I'm sure he's visiting from Spirit World whenever he's needed! Purrs.

  16. It's such a huge adjustment when you lose a family member but I'm glad that Angelique is trying to comfort everyone. Travis you need to get back to eating well because your humans need you to be as strong as you can be while you all try hard to get used to the new "vibe" in the household without Crockett. The Blog Hop was wonderful and a chance for all of us to honor him - now we are hoping that all of you will feel the "little dude" keeping watch over you always.

    Hugs, Teddy

  18. It is a slow process to get used to a sudden loss. Travis you need to be the fellow who helps Angelique and Mom to manage and you made a good start by hanging with the girl. Hope you get your appetite back soon.

  19. You are all having to make such a big adjustment, which none of you anticipated at all, that's the hardest part. You and Angelique are doing well, and are helpful to the others by showing them love and patience. Sending more purrs, licks and hugs.

  22. Crockett gave the best raspberries EVER! I miss him and his berries already! I imagine he is giving berry greetings to the furriends he's meeting at the Rainbow Bridge.

Maybe some extra bacon will help dry some of your tears. Make sure you take care of yourself so you can be there for your sisfur and the rest of your family, 'cause they need you, especially more than ever. Purr purr purr. Big luvs and hugs.
