Well, da mommas has gotten a full-blown case of Kitten Fever from Bowie. Dey say dis face are just irresistible.
Angelique and I are not 100 purrcent shure yet.
I'm still letting out a few baby hisses, but they are less and less all the time. Angelique are still hissing some, but da mommas say dey has seen worse (Jezebel actually lost her meow from hissing Maurice so much).
None of it seems to bother Bowie.
My momma talked to da lady who fostered Bowie on FB and we got baby pics! Here he are at one day old.
And here's a week and a half.
2 1/2 weeks.
And 6 weeks! He wuz born on April 4 (we're almost birthday buddies), so he's about 10 1/2 weeks old now.
He's got a good meower on him. He's not as loud as me YET, but hey, he's only a baby.
I've got years of yowling experience.
He luvs to play and he also likes to cuddle up on da mommas and nap.
He's got some cute pink jellybean toes on him.
We both went to the vet yesterday (him for a welcome visit and me for my annual checkup). Bowie sang the song of our people all the way there. He got all oohed and aahed over - but the vet techs still luv me since I don't bite or scratch people. He weighed in at 3.1 pounds and I wuz 11.8. He's got some eating to do to catch up to me! Oh, and I need a tooth cleaning soon. FUN FUN FUN.
Yeah, Angelique got to skip this one. She'll get hers later!
OMC!! Ya'll have given us some kitten fever too, MOL! Hmmm, don't think pawppy would allow it though...

No wonder Bowie is such a sweetheart - he has been handled by humans since he was born! Your human's mom is so lucky to have him.

What a sweet heart he is. And it's so cool that you got baby pics too. I got Toby at four weeks so I pretty much knew everything about him but Leia was five months. I always wondered about her history.

ReplyDeleteBowie sure is a cute kitty! The only kitty cat I've ever met in the furs was Maddie (aka the Kitten Overlord) and she would punch me in the nose. But then we'd both peacefully watch birdies from the dining room window together. Go figure!
