Happy Chinese New Year! Or gong her fat choy!
It's the Year of the Ox, so at our house da mommas is cooking up some tangerine beef - it smells delishus!
It's absolutely frigid outside and we are supposed to have blizzard condishuns next week and a low of -2F. It's a good time to be an indoor kitty!
But that's not all that we've been up to . . .
I had my first tooth cleaning today. I wuz not real happy when I got home and I hid out for a bit, but I'm back to being my sweet affectionate self. Da worst part wuz that I didn't get any food last night after 8. I thought my momma had da demenshus or somefin cuz she forgot. I hope that wuz just a one-time thing. She says now I'm gonna be getting my toofers brushed to keep them sparkling white. Well, she's gonna try, MOL.
And Bowie's gonna hafta get his brushed too. All I gotta say is we better be gettin LOTSA treats for this!

ReplyDeleteUsually they are only in the panhandle. This is a historic storm and record cold (it hasn't been this cold in Dallas for over 30 years).

Petcretary used to brush some of the kitties' teeth...and MJF's, too...but she slacked off when she got to be a working gal...however the vet always said their teeth looked good. Sometimes she does brush the hooligans teeth....but not often enough by her own admission. They get special brushing chews to help a bit. (Oravet)

Momma seems to mind it a lot more than me. Of course, I don't hafta go outside in it!
DeleteI never thought of Texas as getting cold like that, but of course it is so vast that there must be extremes of temperature and weather.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have sparkling clean toofy pegs! I used to brush Eric and Flynn's teeth because Eric had gingivitis from a very early age, and Flynn felt left out if he didn't get his teeth brushed as well. It probably helped that the paste was chicken flavoured!
This is the coldest Dallas has gotten in over 30 years.

ReplyDeleteShe got lucky. Well, ok, she is overdue for a vet visit, but since she has had panic-induced seizures before and is only calm with her momma there, we are trying to avoid taking her while they are still doing curbside pickup.
