Happy Meowloween!

 

Happy Meowloween pals! We all did a steampunk theme - thanks for da new hat and bowtie grandma! As ya can tell, I wuz a very dapper guy and I liked me hat a lot, momma says I am an unusual kitty.

We didn't have any trick or treaters here, so I are letting momma show off her pumpkin here. Even though it's a D-O-G pumpkin - Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Next year better be cat-themed, MOL! Happy Meowloween!

Hey pals. Furst of all, I wanna say thanks to all my pals for their kind words for my momma. She are still sad, and then there are these infuriating family issues on top of it all - some of y'all may know what I are meowin about, but for those of ya who don't - this stuff goes back decades and it's just very obnoxious becuz my momma (and her momma) have been lied about and treated like garbage by certain family members . . . ugh. It's really an addin insult to injury type thing. 

Ok, on to better news - I got bacon this morning!! Ok, again, it wuz technically afternoon since momma likes to do hours of working out before she eats Caturday brunch, MOL MOL. I do hours of meyowin.

And today momma carved her pumpkin - but she carved a D-O-G! Ok, it are a ghost dog - pacifically Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas. And she has carved cats before and this are the furst dog. But really . . . there is another carvin' type pumpkin - I'm trying to convince her to do a cat, but she might just leave it for uncarved for November decor . . . Anyways, here's the Caturday Art she drew yesterday in honor of National Cat Day.

Hmmm, I think I shoulda gotten bacon yesterday too. I wuz definitely cheated! At least I need extra treats!

Sad Wednesday

 

Momma are very sad today.

Her Nana passed away today. And my momma didn't get to say goodbye since she are 5 1/2 hours away.

I think I are gonna be busy trying to cheer her up. Maybe some silly faces??

Or headbonks. Headbonks work pretty good.

RIP Margaret Martin. You will be very missed.

It's selfie day! Well, it's gettin spooky around here. Momma has da Meowloween decorayshuns up, Halloween music, Halloween movies, and Halloween candy. I has Halloween bandanas and toys. All we need now is some Halloween-themed cat treats!

Well, it's been a pretty good Caturday. I got bacon dis morning (well, momma calls it morning. It wuz afternoon, MOL!) and I spent da day hanging out wif my momma.

And the dog had to get groomed, so that wuz funny. Good thing it's not ME!

Here's momma's Caturday Art for today. She finished a painting too, but since it is going to be a surprise for Bowie's momma, we won't be showing it for a while.

So we are getting in the Meowloween spirit around here - momma came home today wif pumpkins and candy (and more importantly, bacon and chikken livers for me!)

And I has been getting to wear my new Meowlowen bandana.

But I'm not the only one - Bowie and Angelique got theirs back in Plano!

I was ad to hear about my friend Giulietta becomin an Angel Kitty. She was a beautiful girl and we are all gonna miss her.

It's Sunday, so it's selfie time. So, today is one those days it's good to be an inside guy - momma says the weather today is "dust" and the winds are nuts - ya can here da commoshun it is making when ya is upstairs in da apartment. I think I'll take my warm spot in da chair, thank you very much. And if ya do decide to make chikken tacos tonite momma, I'll gladly take some of dat chikken off your paws too. HINT HINT.

Well, I had a good Caturday. My momma made BACON. So of course I wuz meywoin and goin crazy and I got some bacon bites. YUM. 

Then I kept my momma company while she watched TV and finished new Meowloween bandanas (I'll be showing mine off in a few days).

So a long time ago, I used to do Sammy's Purrsday poems. And while I wuz meyowlin, tryin to convince my momma I needed to eat AGAIN (NO, 30 minutes is not too soon to be askin for more foods), I got all poetically inspired again. So I thought I'd share it wif ya.

It are wrong to starve da cat.
I wish I wuz lookin fat
I are so hungry it's true
So hungry I'll meow you
I ate ten minutes ago
Are I sated? Answer's no!
Feed me, feed me, feed me now
Or you WILL hear me meow

Hey pals. 

Well, grandma and Brinley went back to Plano. Which stinks cuz I wuz enjoying dose hard head rubs of grandma's and having anudder person around to con outta food. And Brinley MOSTLY kept Kinley occupado, which I most definitely appreciated! 

Monday wuz Natishul Taco Day, so of course I had to hang in my taco truck. I luv it.

Anyways, things are back to normal around here. Well, as normal as they ever are. Momma got da place all decorated for Meowloween - well, as much as she can wif what she brought. Since this is a one year gig, some of her stuff are still back in Plano awaiting our next destinayshun.

Just as long as they sell bacon there!
