Sunday Selfie

So I has a new favorite spot to hang out - da chair wif da croshayed pillow that momma's grandma made. Dis are da grandma dat went to da human Rainbow Bridge a week and a half ago. She liked to make things like my momma and my grandma.  

Yeah, I had to pose there again today. It really are one of my new favorite spots in da living room. Oh and momma says something exciting are gonna happen dis week and dat I better be ready for a ROAD TRIP.

Hey pals, it are starting to feel like fall around here. Well, ok, I guess since I are inside it duzn't really feel dat different in da apartment, but for whatefur reason, I has been being really snuggly wif my momma lately.

And it's not just cuz I want extra bacon, MOL. Although . . .

Gato de Los Muertos

 

Today are da second day of Día de Los Muertos. And no, it's not Mexican Meowloween, it is a celebrayshun to honor the dead. So I decided to build my own kitty ofrenda.

I put up pickshures of Angels Jezebel, Maurice, and Crockett. Our family has had more kitties, but those are the ones that I purrsonally knew. And I lit a candle for them and put up some toys for them to play with when they come visit. Oh, and the Tentaciones de Muertos. See, the dead kitties can't actually eat them, but they get to "taste" them when they come visit. And I get to eat them as I remember them. Yum.

Hey Angels Jezebel, Maurice, and Crockett - I miss y'all. I am doing my best everyday to demand as much food as possible - I know y'all would be proud!

Happy Meowloween pals! We all did a steampunk theme - thanks for da new hat and bowtie grandma! As ya can tell, I wuz a very dapper guy and I liked me hat a lot, momma says I am an unusual kitty.

We didn't have any trick or treaters here, so I are letting momma show off her pumpkin here. Even though it's a D-O-G pumpkin - Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Next year better be cat-themed, MOL! Happy Meowloween!

Caturday Art

 

Hey pals. Furst of all, I wanna say thanks to all my pals for their kind words for my momma. She are still sad, and then there are these infuriating family issues on top of it all - some of y'all may know what I are meowin about, but for those of ya who don't - this stuff goes back decades and it's just very obnoxious becuz my momma (and her momma) have been lied about and treated like garbage by certain family members . . . ugh. It's really an addin insult to injury type thing. 

Ok, on to better news - I got bacon this morning!! Ok, again, it wuz technically afternoon since momma likes to do hours of working out before she eats Caturday brunch, MOL MOL. I do hours of meyowin.

And today momma carved her pumpkin - but she carved a D-O-G! Ok, it are a ghost dog - pacifically Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas. And she has carved cats before and this are the furst dog. But really . . . there is another carvin' type pumpkin - I'm trying to convince her to do a cat, but she might just leave it for uncarved for November decor . . . Anyways, here's the Caturday Art she drew yesterday in honor of National Cat Day.

Hmmm, I think I shoulda gotten bacon yesterday too. I wuz definitely cheated! At least I need extra treats!

Sad Wednesday

 

Momma are very sad today.

Her Nana passed away today. And my momma didn't get to say goodbye since she are 5 1/2 hours away.

I think I are gonna be busy trying to cheer her up. Maybe some silly faces??

Or headbonks. Headbonks work pretty good.

RIP Margaret Martin. You will be very missed.
