Flower Friday

Well, it has not been a good week for da humans around here.

Dis week, we found out that my momma's grandparents (Bowie's momma's parents) have both tested positive for da COVID.

\

As of yesterday, they're both asymptomatic. They're 92 and 90 and live in a senior living facility. OUR humans haven't seen them in months becuz of COVID and the rules of the place they live - only staff and medical personnel are sposed to go in.

But there's some other family members in this town, who apparently felt like they didn't hafta follow the rules and have been visiting and bringing them things. Including COVID. Hisses!!!

Da mommas have a lot of problems wif dis branch of da family already. Let's just say their selfishness and stupidity is no surprise.

And that's not even the only stressful thing going on. Let's just say da mommas are lucky to have kitties. Here's some flowers too - those are always cheerful.

Stay healthy pals.

  2. I am sorry to hear about your momma's grandparents and hope they both make a good recovery.
It makes me so angry when people ignore the guidelines which are for everyone's safety.

    1. Yeah, we've got our share here too. Probably why Texas keeps being a hotspot.

  4. We are sending purrayers for The Grands - and probably for the rest of the older folks in their facility ! We know how important kitties are to help humans keep their sanity !

  6. Sorry to hear about your Mama's grandparents - I do hope that they will stay well even though they've tested positive. It's just VERY SAD that people can't do the right thing to protect each other. We cats do a way better job of that than humans do!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Yeah, it is frustrating. Momma is not surprised at these people being that way though, they're pretty awful.

  7. That is some bad news! But my ghostwriter says that most of her little old people at the nursing home where she works who tested positive for the virus, never developed any symptoms. Let's hope this is the case for your grandparents.

We sure hope they will not get sick...

Hisses to the careless peeps who did not follow procedure.
