Yaheetech Cat Tree Review

Well, this post is a LONG time coming. See, way back in late October, we got offered da oppurrtunity to review a cat tree from Yaheetech. But then I had my urinary problems and Bowie had his mystery illness. I had to spend a month in lockdown, I couldn't be allowed to jump, so I obviously couldn't review any cat trees. But then it wuz Christmas (yeah, momma just calls everything after her birthday Christmas) and if ya've seen our house, ya know how crazy dat is. But right before New Year's, momma decided to finally set up my MAJOR AWARD so I could review it for you. Well, to make a long story short - 5 stars, definitely recommend. I got the 69.5 inch cat tree in dark gray. It's currently for sale for $119.99 and is recommended for 2-3 medium/large cats (sounds like us!) But keep reading if ya wanna know more (plus, there's some cute pictures of us on da tree - and even a MOVIE!) Oh, and a coupon code at the very end.

The first thing we wanna say is that the shipping wuz incredibly fast. Even though the tree wuz comin from China, it wuz here in just a few days.

Come on momma, let's get to setting it up!

Well, it looks like you've got some work ahead of you!

Oh good - there's instructions! They're pretty clear to follow. Momma says they were Ikea-like picture instructions (if ya know what that means), but that they were pretty easy to follow. My momma and grandma put the tree together pretty quickly and didn't run into any problems.

The first thing da mommas did wuz make shure all the parts were there and that they could identify them on the manual. Everything wuz there, and some parts (the scratching posts) were even labelled, so it wuz pretty easy to figure out what wuz what. As you can see, the tree is made of particle board, natural sisal, and a dark gray plush fabric. VERY COOL!

There's also a bag of hardware. Momma recommends separating the screws based on type to make assembly easier.

Step 1 wuz to assemble the "cat cave" as momma called it. Ok, she also called it a "cat house," but cat cave are a lil more family-friendly so we are gonna go wif dat.

Assembling this wuz probably one of the more difficult steps since you cannot really see exactly where you are inserting the poles and have to do it more by feel. Momma recommends doing the front two poles first.

Next up we built the base of the tree. Wow, that's a lot of scratching posts for us!

There's a very cool hammock attached at this level - it hooks on to hooks on the side, so the hammock can be removed for easy cleaning.

Ok, time to keep building. Wow, even more scratching posts! This are the dream house of cat trees, we can scratch to our hearts' content (and maybe it'll convince Bowie and Angelique to leave da grandpa's antique speakers alone!)

Then there's another platform.

Here your human attaches two more scratching posts - the tall one in back and a short one in front.

The cat cave your human built at the beginning is attached on this level. Momma says it can be a little tricky to attach - you'll probably hafta do it by feel (or if your human is small and flexible like her, you can bend over backwards and do it, MOL!) There's also a fun basket to offer another nap spot.

Finally, there's another level wif a fun ball toy to pat and a "captain's perch" to get really high in!

I couldn't wait to try my new cat tree. It's definitely fit for a king! AKA ME!

I wuz a big fan of the plush gray fabric. It's very soft and it looks great against my pale furs.

I'm king of the world up here!

I wuzn't the only kitty who wanted to try out this tree - Bowie wuz up and checkin out da cat cave in no time. He really seemed to enjoy da peekaboo hole.

We had fun exploring our new tree.

Momma even managed to catch some of it on video.

As you can see, this Yaheetech cat tree are plenty sturdy for the two of us and we are not petite kitties.

The tree comes with a wall anchor, but we didn't use it. We've never anchored our trees before, but we did want to mention it since we know some of our pals might be interested.

The sisal scratching posts have been getting a lot of work this last week!

This cat cave are pretty cool!

Angelique had to test out the tree too.

Today she wuz lounging on the high platform while Bowie enjoyed da crow's nest.

It's the purrfect spot to catch some sun on your furs.

We highly recommend this Yaheetech cat tree. High quality, sturdy, easy to assemble, and us cats luv it! If you'd like to order your own Yaheetech Cat Tree, use the code KIM20 to save 20%!
