Hey pals. It's Day 12 of my unjust imprisonment. And I decided that today I'd do a Music Monday post - I haven't been able to do one of those for a while due to all the medical emergencies. But since me and Bowie are both doing ok now, I thought I'd do a music post for ya.
The theme this week are musicians born in November. And since both my momma and Bowie's momma has November birthdays, this wuz somefin my momma could really get into since she says it are da best month ever for birthdays.
Since we are da Lone Star Cats, we thought we'd start wif a Lone Star musician - Lyle Lovett. Born November 1.
Next up are one of momma's favorites - Miranda Lambert (she's seen her twice).
Ok, to switch modes a lil. Do any of y'all remember da boy bands of da late 90s? MOL, my momma duz and while she wuz never really into them, Nick Lachey wuz cute and she did watch Newlyweds. Weird thing - he and his wife Vanessa Minnillo (who costars in this video) have the same birthday (today).
Carlie Rae Jepsen also has a November birthday - here's her big hit.
And now for Miss Tina Turner to close the show - she shares my momma's birthday!

DeleteMom's fav boy band is the Back Street Boys. She and Dad were born on the same day in the same year. Dad says that means Mom doesn't have to ever worry that he'll forget her birthday. Tee hee hee. I'm so-o relieved that you and Bowie are doing better. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteMOL, my momma duzn't know if she could share a birthday. She duzn't even like sharing wif Thanksgiving and demands the family eat turkey on Fridays when her birthday's on Thanksgiving (like this year).
DeleteAnd the icing on the cake (or do We mean the Cherry on the Icing?) is, that St. Cecilia's Day (St. Cecilia being the patron saint of MEWSIC) is on November 22nd!
