Da Momma's Birthday

So maybe it are Thanksgiving at your house, but at our house it are my momma's birthday. Yeah, she is such a diva we gotta move a national holiday for her. 

 

Angelique is not da only diva in da house.

Us kitties wuz snoopervisin da making of da brunch - it involved crab! YUM!

But den this happened - while da humans were eating brunch, the cake layers were cooling on wire racks on the counter. And the flying Bowie leaped up and knocked one of the layers to the ground. So grandma had to remake the cake.

He looks innocent, but he is trouble! 

I let momma take a pickshure wif me - it wuz her birthday after all. She joked about how come none of her presents meowed then said yeah, she really needed another $8000 cat. I'm worth every cent - just ask me!! Well, since I did cost so much, I let her take a pic wif me. 😉

Happy Birthday Grandma! (Day 16 of My Captivity)

 

Today wuz my grandma's birthday. I tried to convince da warden my momma that I needed to be freed in order to help her celebrate, but for some reason, she didn't buy it.

  

Bowie says he helped her celebrate though.

I guess photobombing is helping her celebrate. MOL. But seriously, she says havin us both healthy after this last month are da best present she could ask for.

 

The humans all just stayed home this year - my momma made her shrimp eggs benedict and mimosas for lunch, crawfish eh-too-fay, and a chocolate cake.

Today it wuz my momma's birthday!

She had a pretty good day - dere wuz tasty food (crabcakes eggs benedict for brunch and king crab legs for dessert), cool presents (even if she dey were nipless) and da mommas went to see Frozen 2. 

And dere wuz also dis cake . . . 

Yeah, my grandma (Bowie's momma) made dis cake, featuring all 6 of us!

Yup, they're in LUV. Just like in real life. It's weird. They even Lady and the Tramp it and will eat off the same plate together. It's unnatural.

It wuz a lemon cake with lemon buttercream frosting. Us animals is made our of modeling chocolate. Which Bowie attempted to eat last nite. Crazy. Although, I probably woulda tried too if I thought I could get away wif it.

Today are my momma's birthday. She are SUPER OLD, like DECADES old.

Anyways, we think she had a good birthday. Dere wuz crabbycakes and crawfish enchiladas (she claims dey wuz too spicy to share, I are not shure I are buying dat one . . . ) and lotsa drinks. And a movie and presents and best of all . . . 

Lotsa pets for us kittehs! Ya know how da humans luv to pet us, so we all made shure to let her pet us. Aren't we generous??

And we thought ya might wanna see da cake. Even though it did not have a frosting ME like last year. It are still pretty cute (and I are still figgerin out how I can sneak some . . . )

Happy Birthday Crockett's Momma!

Happy birthday to Crockett's momma! 

She are sixty. I are not shure what dat are in cat years. But I do know she gives pawsome head rubs and are da maker of da bacon (if it wuz up to my momma, I are not shure WHEN we would get bacon). 

She had a pretty good birthday. Even if my momma did take away da present I wuz tryin to bring her (apparently squirming lizards not a good present??). Anyways, she got lotsa presents (of da non-squirming variety). And da mommas went to see a movie.

But da best of all wuz da food!

See dose crabbycakes eggs benedict - I wuz a lucky cat and got some of dat crab! Dey went out to dinner, so no such luck there. But look at dat cake!

Too bad it are chocolate and not tuna-flavored. MOL!

Immortilizayshun in Frosting

As I told y'all on Sunday, it wuz my momma's birthday.  And in case ya hasn't figgered it out, da humans around here do hollydays BIG (well, at least da mommas do).  One of da things dey do for birthdays is a speshul dessert and dis year my momma wanted a chocolate cake (even though I tried to convince her to have a bacon and tuna cake to share wif me).  Anyways, she got Crockett's momma to decorate it wif frosting portraits of ME and da dawg.

Dat's right I was immortalized in frosting!

Well, ok Angelique. Maybe not immortalized since da humans are eating it.  But at least dey ate da dog first.

Sunday Selfies

So, as we menshuned earlier in da week, we had anudder birfday round here yesterday.

Dat are right, it wuz Angelique's momma's birfday!  She turned 27!

And bestest of all, she had da good sense to ask for dubble bacon - bacon to go wif brekkyfast and avoCATo bacon potato salad to go wif da Aunty Cuchoos.
