The Santa Hat Wuz One Thing . . .

Antlers are another.  I are Travis da Unhappy Reindeer.  Haven't ya ever seen da Grinch momma - it's da dog dat has to wear da antlers and be a reindeer, not da cat.  Dis are what happens when you are da "good kitty" who never scratches anyone.

Crockett got to rock da Santa Hat today.

And Angelique got to go decorashun free.  Somefin bout her being new here and blah blah, I purrsonally think it wuz cuz she scratched up my momma's finger good da other day.

So today's lesson - be bad or risk wearin antlers.

Makin Friends

Well, Angelique is pretty much roamin free around da house now, and we's all gettin to like each other.  I even spent some time sniffin her last night and didn't run away when she hissed me.  I even let her have a tiny bit of my cat food today, maybe I has a lil crush on da pretty girl.  Crockett are just plain infatumatated wif hers.  And da dogs are nuts bout her and just want to follow her everywhere - espeshually Whitley.  She acts like she's never seen a cat before.

Angelique even had to pose in front of da Christmassy tree for my momma - dere are a price you pay in dis house for all da Fancy Feasts and it are da posin dat are required everyday.

Looks like she nailed it.

Sunday Selfies

Angelique are learnin how to take selfies.  Not too shabby for a furst effort, I gotta be proud of my lil sister there.  Even if she are a girlcat and kinda scary.

In more important news, dis weekend wuz a double bacon weekend - we had bacon yesterday and today!!!  OMC, those are just da bestest.  And definitely makes up for da lack of sunpuddles around today.  It's like Christmas came early to da Lone Star Cats casa.

As ya can see, Crockett was eggcited.  Ya can see his toesies all stretched out and reachin for it.

Caught by da peeps again.  No bacon thievin for us, so we had to resort to bacon beggin.  Luckily, my momma are a soft touch and she's da one dat sits closest to da cat tower.

Sepia Caturday

Well, dat girl even looks good in sepia!

We're havin a pretty good Caturday round here - me and Crockett got some bacon dis morning.  Angelique wuz in her room asleep, I don't think she are quite ready for da feedin frenzy dat are Bacon Time.  And I'm not complainin bout not havin to compete wif yet another cute lil kitten for my bacon.  MOL MOL!

Da peeps have been startin to bake Christmas cookies, I tried to steal some last night, but my momma said Christmas cookies aren't for cats.  What da meow???  If I has to pose for Christmassy photos everyday, I should get da cookies too.

Angelique is Out and About

Well, Angelique is finally out and about today.  She explored da kitchen (my favorite room, MOL!) earlier and now she is hanging out on da back of da couch.  I touched noses wif her earlier, but I's still bein a lil skittish I'm just lettin her have her space to explore some.  It's not like I'm scared of a girl or nuffin.  Anyways, we did touch noses.

Crockett's been real interested in her - I hope my buddy don't forget bout our bromance and ditch me for a girl.

We's all been havin a pretty good day round here.

Da Christmas Tree

Well, y'all saw a lil of it in my pics from yesterday, but I thought I'd show ya more today.

Ya can see we believe in a very decorated tree!

Da peeps have been collecting these ornaments for years - they have lotsa Hallmark ornaments, glass ornaments, stuffed animals, icicles, satin balls with croshay on dem, croshayed snowflakes, felt ornaments, painted ornaments, wood ornaments, well, ya name it and dey got it.

Da best ornament on da tree.  At least in my opinion.  Crockett and Angelique are gonna be gettin theirs this year.

And no cat has tried to climb it (yet).

He kept his tongue in again.  He must be tryin to impress Angelique.

She is pretty, and do only one who's received her smacky paw is Whitley.  MOL MOL!
