Crockett copied my pose today, but he had to add a hint of dat signature tongue of his. We's just relaxin today, my momma says she are gettin ready to start da Christmassy decoratin tomorrow (we waits till December round here). I luvs watchin all da flashin Chrissymas lights. Last year, I wuz good and didn't try to climb da tree even once. We are all kinda waitin to see what Crockett are gonna do, MOL!

Da only one of us dat ever climbed da tree wuz Jezebel, years ago. It came down and she never tried again.
Deleteabsolutely darling!! When I was married to my ex husband I used to wait til Dec to decorate too (I am Jewish but he was Catholic) and I LOVED decorating for Christmas!!!!!

DeleteChristmas trees, being trees, means they gotta be climbed and maybe even napped in, MOL! Just ask our angel Simba...he will tell you how...
ReplyDeleteWe still like taking some or all of the baubles off..so now the spoil sport known as meowmy only uses those led trees and puts garlands on them...no baubles...but we got her! We took the whole thing down, along with the tree, OMC!! (Two years ago...)
Maurice liked to try to take baubles off. And Jezebel knocked da tree over one year. I wuz good last year, who knows what'll happen dis time!
