Thoroughly Poetical Thursday

Well, it are Thursday, so it are time for my literary genius to take over.  As opposed to da litter box genius, who will take over about an hour after dinner.  MOL MOL.  Anyways, dis photo are da inspurrayshun for dis week's photo . . .

Da brave young kitty scaled da stairs
Of creaks and moans, he had no cares
Cuz he smelled somefin delishus
Da scent of some tasty fishes
It wafted in from the kitchen
Da aroma wuz bewitchin'
His hunger made him very brave
And he got the food he did crave!

Yeah, I wrote dis poem on an empty stomach.  Well, as empty as my stomach ever gets.  Which, contrary to whut momma thinks, are WAY TOO EMPTY!

I's demandin some eggstra treats for us all (but a few MORE for me).  I mean, I provided poetical enjoyment, da momma should provide treats.  Seems fair.

MOL... that's like going shopping when hungry - all the mind does is say 'food food food'... but at least your's was a creative filling and not the overshop which happens in the other scenario! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Excellent poetical fun for Angel Sammy's poetry challenge this week! I love it and I can imagine the aroma of fishes (or mousies) flying around that staircase too. Makes me hungry. But then I'm always hungry. I hope you got a bacon treat for your hard work??

    Hugs, Teddy
