Hey pals! It's Sunday and it's selfie time!
Well, my momma survived what she are now terming da week from Lubbock Hell. She are not gonna get into da details of it all here, but basically she feels totally disrespected where she are workin for da next 6 1/2 months and has no idea where we are gonna be next. So da stress level around here are sky high and I am giving her lotsa purrs, headbonks. And a steady stream of siren meows cuz I know she luvs dat stuff.
I also told her bacon are a known stress reliever and she should be cookin it for me everyday. Yeah, it didn't work, but a guy can try.
Oh, Travis, you could bake the bread you knead, and turn that into bacon sandwiches, we think that would cheer your Momma up for a while at least! Purrs are always nice and comforting, and maybe try not to sing too. many songs of your people to her...else she might join you!

DeleteKeep trying dude, if not the bacon then push for eggs or pizza! A cats job is never done it seems, and we always have to pick up the bits after others meanness. Stay strong you all, and know we are purring for a happy conclusion to the job thing.

Funny thing - I claimed that blanket when it was in Plano. Momma's grandma made it and she had been thinking of taking it out here, but after I decided it was "mine," her momma said she could definitely have it!

DeleteSo sorry to hear about your Mom's work problems. These days anybody who is willing to actually work should be honored and appreciated. And yes, a bit of bacon would be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteMomma are just upset becuz she did everything you are "supposed" to do and then some, and it didn't work. It seems like so many people get to fail upwards and well, she just keeps getting messed wif.
