Hi pals! It's Mewsic Monday and I'm back with some tunes for ya. The theme this week are songs based on historical people/events.
The Ballad of Ira Hayes by Johnny Cash.
The Last Great American Dynasty by Taylor Swift.
The British Are Coming by Weezer.
Candle in the Wind by Norma Jean.
Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Which are about the Vietnam War, but still seems pretty current.
You have two of my favourites, CCR and Elton John. I haven't heard of Weezer but will listen later.

DeleteHappy to see you all back this week and the first two songs were new to me. Absolutely loved on Johnny Cash and Taylor Swift - that's such a surprise ending in her song, too. The other two songs were great, too.
