Happy Labor Day! I wuz gonna try to NOT work today. But it didn't work - I still had important jobs to do. You know, meowing da momma to remind her to feed me and attempting to be a westie etiquette coach and guarding my favorite blanket and well, a cat's work are never done. I say I earned some bacon for all my labor, well, at least some of momma's salmon tonite.

So apparently this whole Labor Day thing has to do wif the labor movement and workers. We're just glad the only work the three of us have to do is posing for treats!

Momma had wanted to do a playlist of some of Grandpa's favorite songs since it wuz his birthday yesterday, but he wuzn't cooperative in telling her more than 2 songs. 🙄 Well, since Labor Day are today, we've got a work-themed playlist today. Apparently work involves a lil bit more than looking cute and eating Temptations. Kinley will have some more Labor Day songs for ya.

P.S. Some of you might remember a few weeks ago that we wrote about my momma's grandparents having COVID. Well, today it are my momma's grandma's birthday (she are 91!), so my momma called her (and actually got through!) Both her and momma's grandpa are doing fine and were asymptomatic the whole time. So, some good news we forgot to share.

Now ya might be wondering, what are cats celebrating Labor Day for? "Cats don't work," blah blah. Well, we disagree! Us three have a LOT of jobs! Like bacon taste tester, entertainer, therapist, masseuse, kitchen supervisor, dog smacker, lizard hunter, bug killer, alarm clock, night nurse (we LUV to wake up the humans), bathwater tester, towel warmer, maid (we luv to clean off the tables by knocking things off), gardener (chewing is pruning the plants!), you name it! And that's not even counting that we're social media stars!!

So happy Labor Day! And let's celebrate how hard-working we are wif EXTRA treats!
