Introducing Bowie!

Well, there's a new cat in town - Bowie Antonio has arrived!

Da mommas went to go look at a different kitty this afternoon, but that didn't work out. Grandma wuz starting to feel real depressed about her chances of finding dat speshul orange guy for her when they headed up to da Petsmart in McKinney where Furry Friends wuz havin an adoption event. And it wuz an orange-a-palooza up there - there were 5 orange boys and 5 orange girls! And one of those wuz Danny - he wuz part of a litter of the Grease litter of kittens. And well, he had grandma saying that's "the one that I want." So here's to a lifetime of summer lovin' and being hopelessly devoted. 

He's a sweet lil guy - all luv and cuddles.

Me and Angelique approved - so far there's only been a few lil hisses.

But what's a few hisses before friends???

Ok, I know I'm not a kitten, but this are MY blog, so I gotta have a good pic too. And I'm happy to have a new buddy.

Even Angelique is being nice! Bowie really are a winner.

Not So Wordless Wednesday

Yeah, we's wordless and cute (or kinda frightening when ya see those fangs on Angelique), but it are not all bout us today. One of our Catster/FB friends has been fostering a momma cat and her kittens (ya can see them here) and the rescue she's working with had a litter of 6 newborn kittens turned in. Our friend's been trying to get her momma to take them on, but wuz not having much luck and is trying to find out if anyone else in the area has a nursing momma cat who might be more willing. We know it's a long shot, but we figgered it wuz worth putting up here.  It's the Wisconsin Rapids, WI area and if you have a nursing momma cat, please contact Mary Beth Ruesch or call the rescue at 715-423-0505 and leave a message if no one answers.
