Meetin Angelique

Well, we both got to meet Angelique today.  We each got a turn meetin her, so we wouldn't overwhelm her wif our ginger craziness.  And both meetings went pretty well, some minimal hissing, but dat wuz it.

Crockett got to meet her first.  He tried to make himself small, he didn't puff up at her.  She allowed him to sniff her paw, MOL, looks like we gots a diva on our hands.

She wuz not scared or intimidated of us at all.  It seems like she wants to make friends.  

I wuz a lil scared of her though, which made da peeps laff since I are da only full-grown cat and by far da biggest (right now anyways).  At first, I tried to hide in a corner.  I mean look at her, she are so pretty wif all dat floofy fur.  And she are a girlcat, I wanted to make a good impresshun.  I wuz just a lil nervous.  Momma made some kinda joke bout me bein a "big pussy" - well, duh I's a big pussycat.     What do she eggspect?  I made myself small, kinda like Crockett did.  We both didn't try to intimidate her at all.  Den me and her got to enjoy some kitty treats together.  Den I relaxed a lil and we sniffed some.

Christmas Collars!

Well, Angelique wuzn't da only thing da peeps picked up when dey wuz at Petco.  Dey also got me and Crockett matchin Christmas collars.  We's stylin now - figures da peeps would find a way to make us all Christmassy too.

We still hasn't met Angelique, but we is real interested in meetin her.  We been hangin round da door to her bedroom.  I tried to stick my head in earlier, and Crockett dashed in to try to steal some of her cat food.  MOL, well, ya can't blame us for bein happy dat da diner in Ally's room has reopened.

Angelique had to go to da vet today for a checkup, she got her second round of shots, deworming, and all dat stuff.  She's not in a great mood after all dat, so da peeps are gonna let her relax for tonight.  Dey said maybe we can meet her tomorrow!

Introducing Angelique

Hey y'all.  Did ya see how I mentioned we might be gettin a new amigo in my last post?  Well, it turns out we got a lil gray and white amiga.  Yeah, my momma's sister, Ally, got herself a kitten today.  Her name are Angelique Noëlle.  In case ya can't tell, she's fond of da French names, Maurice Louis and now Angelique Noëlle.  It means Christmas Angel - well, hope she ain't too angelic to where she don't wanna steal food wif me and and Crockett.  We hasn't met her yet, her momma are keepin her in her room for now till she gets adjusted.  But momma got some pictures of her for all my pals out dere in Blogville.

She are one pretty floofy girlcat.  Momma says dere wuz also dis Siamese boy at da Petco dat she wanted to take home, but dat she were "good" and didn't get him.

I wonder if Angelique are gonna like bacon too.  If so, I might need to ask Santa for even more.

Da peeps has been busy decoratin da tree today, well, dat are watchin da new kitten.  She are hidin out under da bed a lot.  Not like me who wuz out and about right away.

Anyways, Angelique are a cutie and all, but it wouldn't be Sunday wifout or Sunday Selfies.  And da return of Crockett's tongue for all you tongue fans out there, MOL!

Sepia Caturday

Well, it wuz a good Caturday for us, we got our bacon dis morning!  I tried to steal some butter too, but my momma saw me.

Da peeps are gonna start workin on da tree today.  Dey did finish da outside lights dis week though.  Dey got lights in da alley and da backyard too!

And yesterday my momma came home wif more Christmassy stuffed animals - a new Rudolph and Clarice that light up and sing.  She are a Christmassy nutso.

P.S.  I been hearin some roomors bout us gettin a third amigo.  Ally, my momma's sister, are thinkin she are ready for another kitten again.  We'll keep ya posted on dat one.

Christmas is Coming!

I may have menshuned dat I luvs da Christmassy lights.  I are kinda light-obsessed, momma thinks I got a bit too much time wif da red dot toy when I wuz a kitten.  Anyways, I luvs starin at Christmassy lights and dere are tons in my room.

See, it are kinda Christmas insanity in there, but I luvs it.  I'll show y'all da outside lights tomorrow and da tree once da peeps get it up.  It are even crazier dan my room.

I are workin on my Christmassy list too - do y'all think a ton of bacon is too much for Santa to carry? I want him to have room for da shrimpies, crabs, fishies, chikkens, turkeys, pork roasts, and ham in his sleigh.  MOL MOL!
