Friends and Flowers Friday

Hi pals! Happy furst day of summer!

Yeah, there's some kitten cuteness for ya.

I'm liking this lil guy more and more. Grandma even caught us playing together on da cat tree. I tried to pretend like I wuzn't really playin wif him, but she saw us. I guess my tuff guy reputayshun are ruined. Not that I ever had much of one.   

Angelique's diva reputayshun are still intact. She's been sounding like a leaky air hose!

It duzn't seem to bother Bowie.

He is having a lot of fun exploring and playing. 

Wand toys, balls, lil stuffed animals, the tract toys, he's luvin em all.

And now for the flowers . . . 

A peachy hibiscus. 

A scarlet hibiscus.

A peach daylily.

Yeah, there's lotsa flowers going right now.

Happy Birthday Angelique!

It are Angelique's fifth birthday today! Happy birthday to da best kitty cat sisfur I's got.

Ok, ya is da ONLY kitty cat sisfur I's got (thank COD!), but I still want ya to have a nice day. And if dat nice day involves treats I get to share in and toys I get to steal play wif, so much da better. 

My momma gave Angelique dis nippy unicorn.

Ok, she really cleaned up on toys. She got 6 - as ya can tell, lotsa fevvers. Fevvers are her favorite.

My momma also drew her today.

Ok, time to check in on my mini-me, Bowie.

He's mastered the art of the toilet paper unroll.

And since he are so cute, grandma didn't mind at all.  

He's learning how to pose pretty nice, I think.

And we are making friends now.

He came to see me on da cat tree.

No hissing involved.

Yeah, you are pretty cute. Maybe I'll stop playing hard-to-get.

Not shure if I like ya walking above me, I am Top Cat ya know.

I guess ya can play up there.

Us orange boys gotta stick together.

Looks like Bowie likes my nip mat. I guess I can share.

He also likes cuddling in his momma's arms.

Wordless Wednesday

Kitten Fever

Well, da mommas has gotten a full-blown case of Kitten Fever from Bowie. Dey say dis face are just irresistible.

Angelique and I are not 100 purrcent shure yet.

I'm still letting out a few baby hisses, but they are less and less all the time. Angelique are still hissing some, but da mommas say dey has seen worse (Jezebel actually lost her meow from hissing Maurice so much).

None of it seems to bother Bowie. 

My momma talked to da lady who fostered Bowie on FB and we got baby pics! Here he are at one day old.

And here's a week and a half.

2 1/2 weeks. 

And 6 weeks! He wuz born on April 4 (we're almost birthday buddies), so he's about 10 1/2 weeks old now.    

He's got a good meower on him. He's not as loud as me YET, but hey, he's only a baby. 

I've got years of yowling experience.

He luvs to play and he also likes to cuddle up on da mommas and nap.

He's got some cute pink jellybean toes on him.

We both went to the vet yesterday (him for a welcome visit and me for my annual checkup). Bowie sang the song of our people all the way there. He got all oohed and aahed over - but the vet techs still luv me since I don't bite or scratch people. He weighed in at 3.1 pounds and I wuz 11.8. He's got some eating to do to catch up to me! Oh, and I need a tooth cleaning soon. FUN FUN FUN.
