Mewsic Monday

Well, we had a pretty chill Monday here.

Ok, we're cats. We're pretty much always chill unless it's time for zoomies. Or ripping open packages cuz they has nip toys inside . . . 

Well, it's Mewsic Monday and the theme this week are songs about/inspired by art in honor of National Coloring Day. Da momma likes to paint - she says her next painting are even gonna have a kitty!

Supposedly it's about a painting Julian Lennon did as a lil kid and not LSD. Hmmm, it could be both!

A classic, if a bit obvious, choice.

Hmm, I think I'd rather be in luv wif a bowl of tuna than a painting.

It's like a song for 2020, MOL.

My momma's seen Lady Gaga twice. Her concerts are really good, if we're ever allowed to have concerts again . . . 

Sunday Selfies

Well, it's Sunday, so it's selfie time.

Our selfies didn't help the Cowboys win, but at least we look cute.

And best of all, there were plenty of Temptations for posing so cute!

Football Caturday

Well, football are back! Well, at least for some people. My momma's schools (UCLA and Hahvahd) are not playing dis year, so we is all repping Texas today. 

At least burnt orange are a good color on us orange dudes! 

And since Angelique are gray and white - she can wear anything! Oh, and ya might be wondering where our Caturday Art are (or not, MOL). Kinley will have it today since it are dog-related. I know, DOGS, but it are a dog I still miss today, so go check it out.

Remembering September 11

Today is a sad day for da humans. My momma's grief is not personal - she wuz a 14 year old high school freshman on 9/11. Her momma told her what had happened and she went and told her swim team. She could write more about what she felt, the disbelief of everyone, the sadness, how everyone just went from one class to the other watching the news all day and crying, how unreal and shocking it all seemed. Bowie's daddy had a fraternity brother die on one of the planes, luckily the peeps he knew from his days at NYU Law getting his LLM were all ok. We know many people were not so fortunate and had friends and family die that day. 

If you haven't already read it, you should read CK's account of 9/11. In the midst of COVID, this day harder this year than it has in a while, but we know that for those who lost people, every year, in fact every day, is always hard. And we send them our purrs and luv. 

  

We've been doing our best to provide some headbonks to the peeps today.

And if they happen to provide some chikken liver, well, that is more than ok, right? I mean, everyone knows that good food are important when you performing kitty therapy . . . 

  

At least that's our claim!

Happy Labor Day!

 

Happy Labor Day pals!

So apparently this whole Labor Day thing has to do wif the labor movement and workers. We're just glad the only work the three of us have to do is posing for treats!

Momma had wanted to do a playlist of some of Grandpa's favorite songs since it wuz his birthday yesterday, but he wuzn't cooperative in telling her more than 2 songs. 🙄 Well, since Labor Day are today, we've got a work-themed playlist today. Apparently work involves a lil bit more than looking cute and eating Temptations. Kinley will have some more Labor Day songs for ya.

P.S. Some of you might remember a few weeks ago that we wrote about my momma's grandparents having COVID. Well, today it are my momma's grandma's birthday (she are 91!), so my momma called her (and actually got through!) Both her and momma's grandpa are doing fine and were asymptomatic the whole time. So, some good news we forgot to share.
