Happy Birthday Kinley!

Well, today are Kinley's birthday. She's three now. Which I think should mean she should start acting a lil grown up, but she are still da world's bounciest puppy.

So bouncy in fact dat she knocked Crockett's momma to the ground today. Ok, she had some help from Crockett - they wuz playing chase and he ran in between his momma's legs and Kinley tried to follow . . .  

Well, besides toppling da humans, I guess da dog had a good day. Da best part wuz her birthday breakfast - she had a ham and cheese omelet and we got HAM. Yummmm!

Angelique are kinda over dis whole dog birthday thing. She says to wake her up when it's June.

Pre-Christmas Caturday

Santa better get here quick!

Dis whole being "good" stuff are for da burds!

Ackshually, da three of us are pretty good - no one breaks ornaments or tries to climb da tree (if ya saw da pics of our tree, ya know dat dere are not any room for a kitty to climb!)

But still. I guess Crockett decided it never hurts to kiss up to dat Snitchy McTwinkle Farts.

I'm warning him once again - snitches get stitches. And really, trying to steal da sick dog's chikken and rice are not "BAD" behavior.

Looks like Angelique are givin him a lil preview of what might happen if Santa Paws don't deliver.

Even if she does look innocent here. 

I got to wear da cutest pin today - momma got it when she bought her new Mischievous Kittens ornament dis year. It looks like da three of us. 

But we don't gotta wait for Santa for all our presents. My great uncle Richard and great aunt Carmen (and yeah, dey really are great) sent ME a Catmas ham!

Whaddya mean dat ham are for HUMANS and not me??? I don't believe ya momma!

Den dere wuz HAM dis morning!  Da mommas made eggs bennydict and we got some of da maple-flavored ham dey used. YUM!

Da only bad thing wuz dat da sunpuddles wuz lacking (speshully today).

Oh well, ya can't win em all I guess.

Da mommas spent most of da weekend doin up da eggs - I'll show ya some closeups later.  And yes, dere are Travis, Crockett, AND Angelique eggs.

Well, ya knew who da star of dis wuz gonna be.  Just look at dat tongue.

I prefer to keep mine in my mouth.  Dat way it duzn't dry out and is ready to do important things. Like pick up da HAM I got as a speshul brekkyfast treat.  Ok, I just got it cuz Crockett's momma wuz making a ham omelette and woke me up and I started meyowlin like crazy. Bein her speshul peachy boy has its benefits.

Happy Thursday!  Well, our sunpuddles are gone and we have a rodent wannabe meterolojust predicktin more winter on da way, but don't worry, dis week's poem are real winner.

Ham

Oh how I love me some ham

A pork-luvin kitteh I am

I could eat it every day

Ham nonstop are what I pray

Gimme dat delishus swine

And I promise I won't whine

For breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Ham are for shure da winner

Caturday Ham!

Well, we didn't get our normal Caturday Bacon this morning, but I wuzn't mad.  Cuz da peeps gave us Caturday Ham instead.  See, Crockett's momma made eggs benedict instead of da bacon and eggie weggies she makes lotsa Caturdays.  And cuz we's so cute, we gots some of dat tasty tasty ham!

We wuz three very happy kitties (and two happy pups).

Surprise Ham

Today was one of those beeyootifull wonderful days dat us kitties dream bout.  Ok, da weather outside are not beeyootrifull, it are dreary and gray.  And Crockett's daddy are home from work cuz he are sick, and dat are not too wonderful.

But every cloud has a silver lining and Crockett's daddy decided he wanted a ham sammich for lunch.  Which meant surprise ham for us kitties.  I heard da fridge bein opened by Crockett's momma and came runnin in - I wuz just hopin for kitty food.  But den she pulled out da ham.  OMC, I wuz one happy kitty.  We got some of dat tasty ham - I think Crockett's daddy should stay home from work more often!

 I think I'll just spend da day here on da table, ya never know what udder surprises might happen.

Snow Day Ham!

Well, it wuzn't teknikally Snow Day Bacon™, but none of us are gonna complain bout Snow Day Ham.

We had inches and inches of da white stuff - does Mother Nature not know dat we are in Texas and dat in are now March?  We ain't sposed to be havin to put up wif dis stuff.  Da change in da barometrical preshure yesterday wuz makin me crazy, I just kept meowin non-stop.  I are better today.  See momma, ya shoulda fed me some ham yesterday, MOL MOL!

Da snows are startin to melt now, all I know is I are happy I are inside and not havin to deal wif dat cold stuffs.

More Ham for Me!

I's been a lil bacon-deprived lately - I hasn't gotten bacon since Saturday which I fink are WAY too long.  But I has been gettin another tasty treat and it are ham.  Some of da peeples been makin ham sandwiches round here and everytime I fink dat's what dey might be doing I rush in and gives dem my best adorable kitten face.

Den I scream for ham.

And it have been workin like a charm.  Last night, da grandpa dude ate a ham sandwich and he forgot to give me any!  OMC, I meowed big time then he went back into da kitchen and came out wif ham for me and Maurice.  But Maurice did not eat his ham.  Are you ok BFF??

See dat face?  Dat are da face of a kitty who don't know a treat when he are given one.  But I's ok wif Moe bein tastebud-challenged, since it just means more ham for ME!
