Happy Meowloween!

Happy Meowloween! This year, Angelique had to be a unicorn. And she ackshually didn't mind it too much this year - she only looks like she wants to rip ONE of my momma's eyes out. MOL. But she is a pouty lil unicorn.

Bowie got to be a Tacocat for his furst Meowloween. And ya know, tacocat backwards is tacocat.

And finally, I am the KING again. This year, a lion king. Fitting as I am da HCIC around here. Simba who??

International Cat Day!

Happy International Cat Day! 

International Cat Day means extra treats right???

Da mommas went and saw The Lion King today.

Dey really enjoyed it. Even if momma did cry a TON - baby Simba reminds her a ton of Crockett. And of course da scene where Mufasa dies is super sad. But da movie wuz really good - momma's a big fan of the original and this one wuz really good too. 

Angelique's momma used to luv to play Lion King when they were little, she wuz always Simba and my momma wuz always Nala and Scar (she let her little sister be da "star" character most of da time). Funny story, one time their cuzzins came to visit and Angelique's momma assigned them the roles of Pumbaa and Timon - which they were NOT happy about. And then when they grew up, they kinda resembled Pumbaa and Timon (da "big" one even has gastrointestinal isshues)! Which are REALLY funny becuz these same cuzzins were kinda awful to momma in high school - maybe Angelique's momma could see the future? Or she cursed em, MOL!

Anyways, dey liked getting to see the CGI remake together. But for some reason, we didn't get to go to the theater - I think I'm gonna demand day put in da animated version for us to watch!

Bowie had some "positive" interactions wif da crazy pup Kinley.

And no slime this time!

Caturday Art

For dis week's Caturday Art, we played around wif some effects on LunaPic. Dis one is kinda cool - it almost makes me look like a long-haired kitteh.

Not dat Angelique needs any help there.

And Crockett looks like a lil tiger.

But seriously, da humans went to da movies dis week and while day wuz there, dey saw a preview for da live ackshun Lion King and dey had one thought when they saw Baby Simba.

Crockett! Ok, I'll admit it, da resemblance are pretty close. 

Myself, I'm more a mountain lion - prowling up high on my cat tower, lookin for bacon to hunt.

Angelique can look as dismissive as she likes, but it are true!

I are a fearsome predator - just ask dose bacon bits!

In udder news, da momma finally finished dismantling da Catmas tree - it took my momma and Crockett's momma both working for about 15 hours straight to get it done.

Yeah, dey wuz kinda eggzausted after all of dat. 

But at least dey managed Caturday morning bacon today!

So as long as we have da necessities of life . . . 

It are VERY cold here today, so for my momma's Caturday Art, she drew a bundled up kitteh. I think I'll just stay inside where it's safe and warm!
