Hi kitties! I'm doing pretty good today - got lots of good napping in.
I've been having a problem lately, and I'm sure it's one a lot of us have experienced. The human slaves actually think they have other things to do than cater to my every want! Things like - sleeping, eating, reading (seriously, how can they think a book is more interesting than this face), knitting (and it's not even for me!) or being on the computer (and not being MY typist!).
So what do I do to get the attention back on me? I just crawl right on top of whatever they're doing. And I mean RIGHT on top of it. There's a book in their hands? Just go sit on it. They have that computer on their lap, taking up the primo lap space that a cute little kitty deserves? Go sit on it! And then it'll be impossible for them not to pay attention to the cat, which is the only slaves' REAL job.
It works pretty good. I suggest you all try it out.
I also like sitting on dogs when they're in the slave's lap. Just to make sure I'm the one closest to getting pets!
Jezebel, we are glad you have no problem getting your desires across to your humans! They need to remember their place...as slaves !
ReplyDeleteTheir job is to do our bidding ;)
We love that pretty face .

Deletethat's something cats have been doing since back in the days of Egypt :) Well, not the computer part, but you get the idea. Love, Cody
ReplyDeleteYep, we know how to get attention back on us!
DeleteCrikey Jezebel ... you could sit on me anytime. I'd like to get up close and personal to one of you blokes. Do you hiss?????? I hate that hissing thingoe you blokes do ...
ReplyDeleteI like dogs - I never hiss Whitley or Finley. I like sitting on them too!
DeleteDon't come to my den, Charlie...Pipo fur sure will hiss you, and likely as not he will swat you with a swift smacky paw...Minko?Nope he likes pups! Go figure!
DeleteMinko is real good at getting on the confuser evfurry time meowmy sits down at her desk. Pipo? He gets on pawppy at evfurry op-purr-tuna-ty!
ReplyDeleteMOL, you two make quite a pair!
DeleteThat's what I do! It works great doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteSure does.
DeleteIf I do something liek that, the peeps yell at me and tell me I’m needy and high maintenance. Do you believe that?
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable. They should be so lucky your grace them with your presence.
DeleteLOL we think you got mum's number and we are impressed you have the situation under control. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
It's called 20+ years of experience, MOL!
DeleteGood for you getting all that attention. That is a really good job and just the way it should be. We need to try those tricks. Take care and have a good day.
ReplyDeleteThey work pretty well!
Deletejez...haz ya tried de 17 day old halibutt in de ac/heatz vent with a note a tached reedin...stop ignorin de kittehz.....a proach...

I think Travis would eat the halibutt before it reached 17 days old though.
DeleteBravo!!! When all other attempts fail...sit on it!! Purrfect solution.
ReplyDeleteI must admit my mom gets like that sometimes too. Sometimes when she is reading or crocheting I get on the arm of the chair then yowl in her ear....and I must say I have an ear piercing yowl.
Hugs madi your bfff
Yowling in the ear is a pretty good strategy too.
DeleteThat is a grrreat move that we use all the time.
ReplyDeleteMOL
Purrs
It works great!
DeleteWe do this all the time to our mom and dad. Especially when they're on the computer. We can't understand why they would want to do other things besides paying attention to us either! You gave some great advice!
ReplyDeleteI don't know either - something is wrong with those human slaves!
DeleteWe love the sitting on the dog solution to getting attention. We don't have a dog, but Astrid will plop right on top of Mauricio when he is in Mom's or Dad's lap to be the one getting the petting and loving. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThe other kitties around here aren't all that big on sitting on laps, so I don't have to compete with them. I'd probably sit on them too!
