Our big sister, the self-appointed sheriff of the homestead, the HBIC, the friend to everycat, is gone.
We don't know for sure where she is, but we hope it is somewhere with an endless supply of bacon and steaks, a place where sweet dogs know no pain or itchies. And that Finley can meet up with her friends, Whitley, Jezebel, Charlie, Maurice, and Crockett.
I guess that means I am in charge now since I am the oldest animal in the house.
It's so sad here.
We'll all miss Finley.
I am so sorry. Finley is now pain free and healthy again. It is those left behind who now suffer the pain, but she had a good life with you. I send my condolences.

I will meow that Finley was welcomed to the Bridge by so many paws there was hardly room on the cloud and we had to pull in a few more. She, like all of us when we arrive, all of a sudden felt young again and ran around in circles barking like mad. We rolled in the cloud of noms and bacon and the pawty was ON! She sends her love.

ReplyDeleteWe are so furry sorry that Finley has gone - but she will never REALLY be gone, will she? She'll be watching over you all from the Bridge and one day, you will meet again. Until then, she will be frolicking and playing with furriends and family, who have gone before, such as sweet Crockett, enjoying all the bacon and steaks a woofie could possibly want. And now she is free from all sickness and pain, and can run like a puppy again.
