Brinley's Birthday

Brinley came to visit me and Kinley and yesterday wuz her birthday.

Like Kinley, she's 8 now.

I think she had a pretty good birthday. I mean after all, she got to spend da day wif ME.

Well, da momma wuz crazy busy dis last week putting away Christmas decorayshuns. She wuz already late doing it cuz she had to go out of town for two weekends.

Anyways, I just hung out and watched. It didn't look like too much fun.

Hey pals! Well, I menshuned my new cat scratcher yesterday - and today I thought I'd show it to ya. I know this looks like a posed photo, but it's not. Momma just snapped it when she wuz getting ready to leave for work and I wuz hanging out in it.

As ya can tell, I'm a fan. Anyways, it are Mewsic Monday again. Dis week we are getting into spooky season wif songs about masks, masquerades, and disguises.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy birthday to ME!

That's right, today are my 10th birthday! I got some good presents to celebrate.

Those mermaid miceys from Grandma were purrticularly enticing. Or should I say - enmicing!

I also got a bunny kicker toy and a new bandana from my momma. Oh, and lotsa treats and snuggles. Now off for that speshul birthday dinner!

Introducing Bonham?

So I wuz just gonna do a post tonite about how da mommas has been decoratin.

They has been working on da tree for da last couple days.

But tonite, on da way home from da grocery store (and from admiring their own work in decorating the front yard), a lil orange guy darted out in front of their car. Momma yelled at grandma to stop (and luckily she did) and then momma got outta da car. She called "kitty kitty" and well, da kitty actually came. She picked him up, put him in da car wif her and took him home. 

Momma says he's hyper affectionate, and yeah, pretty sure I can smell him on her. He wuz rubbing and rubbing and momma says he wuz making biscuits on da rug. Da mommas posted him up on da book of faces and NextDoor, but so far, no one says he are their cat.

They also took him to da emergency vet so they could scan him for chips.

He wuz chipless.

They looked on Pawboost and no one says he is missing.

They also rang some doorbells and asked a few neighbors.

One said he had darted in front of their car too. Another said they had seen him out this morning in the same area.

Momma says he seems like he's obviously used to people - they aren't sure if he wuz dumped or what.

For tonite he's in da sunroom.

Da mommas are planning on taking him to da vet tomorrow to check out his health.

And well, we may have a new brofur. Da mommas are thinking Bonham - to continue wif da whole Alamo-themed orange kitties. IYKYK.

National Cat Day!

 

Finally! A day dedicated to cats. As everyday should be. MOL. Well, I did pretty good on this National Cat Day - I got some bacon for a (very late) brunch and I got lotsa pets and snuggle time wif my momma.

She drew a kitten's first Meowloween for today's Catuday Art. Dis lil trick or treater are so cute, I would even let him have a Temptation or two. Well, as long as I got my share at da same time, MOL.
