POTP Needed!

Well today wiz just sposed to be a nice post about Angelique's momma's birthday. Mostly her birthday wuz good, but me (and Angelique) has been havin some problems.

Not Bowie. He are purrectly good.

Well, good for a crazy kitten.

Last nite Angelique gave us all a scare. My momma has been flea-combing us everyday (we don't really have fleas but they have been an issue in the past and she's found this is really the only thing that works and avoids harsh chemicals) - anyways, she went to go find Angelique and couldn't. No one could. Which freaked da mommas out - Bowie's momma had been in and outta the house cooking birthday steaks. She didn't think Angelique slipped out, but ya know how humans start questioning themselves . . . 

After over an hour of looking, my momma found Angelique under my bed. And she wuz acting WEIRD. She wuz very scared and kept looking up like something would attack her. Later, we found a pee dribble in Angelique's momma's room. We think she musta had one of her seizures and no one knew and then she took off and hid. She wuz upset for a while, but she calmed down and is fine today.

I've been having some digestive issues for a few days - diarrhea and vomiting. And today they seemed to get worse - I even puked up water this morning then an hour later puked breakfast. So it wuz off to Dr. Shawn for a day of sub-q's, anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds, bloods being stolen, vitamins, x-rays, well a ton of stuff. 

Nothing showed on the x-rays, so there's probably no blockage. Da bloodwork are supposed to be back tomorrow. I've been able to eat a lil bit tonite and so far I've held it down. But I'm definitely not myself and I have dropped a LOT of weight since July. So I could use some POTP and purrs. Momma are very upset becuz she can tell I feel bad. She also said I'm an expensive kitty, but I'm worth it. And I'm still the superstar kitty of the vet's office - I never bite and scratch and I let them do all kindsa things to me. I'm just a chill dude I guess.

Caturday Art

Well, since it are our Caturday art post, I guess I'll start wif da artsy photos.

And Crockett is razzing, even if he are doin it in an artistical way.

We's had an ok few days here.

Things have calmed down a lot after all da Catmas craziness.

Now it are just time for us to relax and enjoy da Catmas lights.

Ok, we's cats. We wuz relaxin da whole time.

But now maybe da mommas can relax and do important things. Like pet da cats.

And remember Caturday morning bacon (which they DID!) 

As ya can see, I wuz opening my mouth just a lil bit at da smell. Crockett went for da full razz.

Angelique had to go to da vet on Thursday for her annual - she had one of her stress seizures on the way there, but her momma wuz able to get her calmed down. She are doin ok now - she got her rabies shot at home and are doin fine.  

Oh, and my momma are back to doin her Caturday art after all her Christmas drawings. In case ya wants to see it . . .

Sunday Selfies

Well, we had a lil too much eggcitment around here today - Angelique had a see-shure again dis morning.

She's ok now.  We aren't really shure what caused it (she's gotten them before when she's stressed).  But it wuz not fun.

We've had some pals wonderin if we is ok becuz of da hurricane.  We live in a suburb of Dallas, so we aren't being affected by it, other than it being cloudy and a lil eggstra rain.  But we has family and friends who are in Houston and would appresheate you sendin your purrs to everyone in on da coast.

A Scary Day

Well, yesterday wuz a bit too eggcitin for us round here.  Angelique had anudder one of her attacks.

She had anudder see-shure.  She's only had dem a couple udder times - it kinda seems like it happens when she is stressed out since everytime she's had one has either been when she wuz fightin wif one of us boys or going to da vet.  She's ok now - we just wish we knew how to make shure dey didn't happen.  She's been tested - all her numbers are fine and it's kinda hard to get whatefur it is figgered out since she is fine afterwards.  Anyways, she had to have a baff cuz she made a bit of a mess.  Talk bout addin insult to injury.

I know we joke bout her bein a diva, but we all really does like her.  Purrin she won't have anything like dis again.

Angelique's Bad Day

Well, I wuz all set to do my Wordless Wednesday post today, but Angelique had so much goin on, I figgered I'd better tell ya about it.  As I's menshuned a couple times, Angie has been havin some ishooes wif inappropriate peein.  So da mommas wanted to take her to da vet to get her checked out to make shure it wuzn't a UTI or somefin else medical.  Well, she sang da song of our peeple on da way there (da mommas say it are da loudest dey has heard Angie meow).  When dey got to da vet, my momma put da carrier on da ground and Angie started snortin funny and soon she wuz thrashin.  It wuz like she got so stressed out she had a panic attack and a see-shure or somefin.  Poor girl.  Anyways, she calmed down and da vet gave her some meds and a sa-ringe so da mommas can collect some pee for analysis if she pees outside da box again - dat's not a job I'd want!

Anyways, after she wuz home, Angelique got up wif my momma and my woof sisfur Whitley to nap on da couch.  Unlike me and Crockett, Angie pretty much avoids da dogs, so we knew she musta been feelin bad and wantin some speshul attenshuns.

She wuz being a real sweetheart.

When she woke up, she gacked up a lil bit of bile - we think it wuz mainly becuz she hadn't eaten all day. But she's eaten since then and seems to be doin ok now.  She just didn't have a good day at all.

Me and Crockett has just been chillin, but we didn't want y'all to forget what we looked like.  MOL!

I'm hopin Angie's feelin all better soon, it are no fun to fight wif a girl who's already havin a tuff day.
