Flower Friday

 

Hi pals! Well, it has been a quiet couple days around here.

We haven't even had any sunspots to lie in. 

But we did get bacon yesterday, so that wuz something.

Anyways, we has been entertaining the mommas wif zoomies.

I mean of course it is entertaining when they see breakables go fly, right??

Anyways, we has some flowers for Flower Friday for ya.

Luckily, momma got these pics yesterday becuz today everything wuz soaked! 

Some of the orange irises have started blooming. The orange bed is where our orange boys are buried - including my BFF Crockett, my predecessor Charlie, and da momma's lemon and white basset, Hank. The first orange boy, Bevo, is buried in San Antonio though.  

Anyways, there are irises everywhere and the flowers are looking nice.

Not as nice as bacon. But really, what is?

Hey pals! Well, me and Bowie are getting to show off our new bandanas. 

We think Angelique are jealous since she has to wait until June for hers.

It's also Flower Friday today.

Hey pals. Fanks for all da sweet comments on our Crockett memorial post.  

Da mommas has been down da last couple days becuz of missing him. So we worked extra hard at cheering em up.  

We've been being extra silly to make em laff. We all have climbed up to the top of the bookcase now that it's out in the living room. And uhh, knocked stuff off it. Becuz we know mommas LOVE picking up stuff their kitties knock down! 

I've been supervisin Bowie's climbing. My momma thinks that are so cute and she said I wuz being a "manny" (male nanny). WOMAN! It's 2020, time to ditch your outdated sexist stereotypes. And you claim you're a feminist.  

Just look at da kid. He obviously needs someone to watch him!

Don't worry Angelique, nobody's gonna make ya be his momma cat.

Ok, now for some flowers. The dayliles are really blooming outside.

There's still a couple iris blooming too.

But it's definitely daylily season now.

I only get to look at em from the sunroom, but they are pretty.

Flower Friday

Well, we have some good news.

Da momma's went to Central Market today (AKA da store dat sells our favorite BACON) and they had it in stock! There's wuz a limit on 2 packages of bacon, but since my momma and Bowie's momma went together, they came home wif 4 packages of HEB maple bacon. 

So that threatened pork shortage won't be bothering us anytime soon.

I feel so relieved, it's like I can relax again and just nip out.

We're all doing good and healthy here now. So much better than last month!

And now it's time for some flowers . . . 

Iris season are almost over, but here are one of the last one.

The daylilies are starting to bloom.

They come in all different colors. 

The one below is one of momma's favorites.

Flower Friday

Well, we had a break in dog birthdays today, which meant no bacon today. 

But tomorrow are Brinley's birthday and we heard there are gonna be bacon AGAIN! And steak!

I guess it's worth keeping those dogs around if we get to celebrate their birthdays in such delicious style . . . 

Ok, it are also Flower Friday, so we are showing ya some more of the irises that were blooming today.

As ya can tell, we have A LOT.

Yeah, there's only a bazillion more too. MOL!
