Hey y'all! Happy Purrsday. Momma has been lookin at kittens online (yeah, it are a BAD habit) and look what she saw
Dese two lil dudes.
If momma didn't know better, she'd swear dey wuz Travis Juniors!
Luckily, we know Maury could say . . .
But I are hopin somebody adopts these two cuties.
I don't know how Angelique would feel about FOUR orange boys though.
MOL MOL! Ok, now on to da Main Event, my Purrsday Poem. As inspired by dis photo.
Playin in puddles are fun for some
But I think splashin' are kinda dumb
Ya better believe me, you can bet
You won't catch me gettin soggy wet
Ya wants my idea of some fun?
A nice nap in da hot toasty sun!
We purr those cute kitties get a good home too.
ReplyDeleteWe really like that poem too. We also do not like to play in water!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
My woofie sisfur likes to splash - she are a weirdo.
DeleteYeah, I don't think Angelique would be too pleased with more orange boys! And I totally agree with your poem.
ReplyDeleteWell, she would have a paw for each one of us.
DeleteI hope those sweet kittens get a good home too. I am sure Angelique is hoping the same as long as it's not with you!
ReplyDeleteI like your poem, but Eric used to love playing in water.
Our Maurice liked playin in water too.
DeleteOMC! Now petcretary has the squees and the kitten fever, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your poem, it about sums up my feelings of wet stuff, too. Though petcretary says we need it sometimes...whatever...
I are NOT a fan of it at all.
DeleteOh, how sweet are they ! Nothing quite like an orange.
ReplyDeleteUs gingers are speshul!
DeleteLuke and Jack are too cute for words and OMCs give your mom a high five for another fine piece of poetry!!

DeleteGreat poem! I hope those 2 cuties get forever homes.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteThose two little kitties are sure cute! I'm sure they'll find good homes. Ghostwriter says that's a nice poem. But I love to splash in puddles whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteKinley luvs puddle splashin - she's nuts.
DeleteWe think Angelique's expression "says" exactly how she would feel about four ginger brofurs! No way, Jose! You poems perfect, and we all totally agree. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteIt would keep her smacky paws busy!
DeleteI agree, Travis, I wouldn't go splashy in muddy puddles either EVER! That's not what I call fun. Are you thinking you might have a couple of new brofurs soon?!
ReplyDeleteYa nefur know . . .
DeleteLOVE your poem today! We cats aren't as crazy about puddle hopping as humans are but they are sometimes really TOUGH to figure out! Thanks for pawticiapting in Angel Sammy's poetry challenge. As for the little doods looking for a gingery home - I think your Mom should get those boys and let them find out what having a SUPER FUN FOREVER home is like - if anyone can show them that - it's you!
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy
They're still at Petco - da rescue reposted em on da Book of Faces. She might be tempted . . .
DeleteMOL! That is a pawtastic poem, Travis. We don't want wet paws either.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't know many cats who do!
